Technology transfer is one of the main objectives of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Access to the latest technology and methodology is critical to maintaining relevancy as professionals.

The Delta Section accomplishes technology transfer by several means including our General Section Meetings, Focus Meetings, Joint Society Meetings and the Deepwater Symposium. We also play host the Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition about every three years (hurricanes not withstanding).
